From their humble beginnings as a ten-bed hospital serving the south Miami-Dade area, Homestead Hospital has been an integral part of their local community since 1940. They are affiliated with Baptist Health South Florida which is the region’s largest faith-based, non-profit healthcare organization. This marriage made in healthcare has ensured that patients receive access to the absolute best doctors and hospitals available in the region as well as a wide array of medical services.

In May of 2007, the dream became a reality with the opening of the $135 million facility which boasts a carefully crafted décor which is specifically designed to promote a healing environment throughout, 142 beds with all of the patient rooms being private as well as some of the latest technology in the healthcare field.

In the Spring of 2016, Baker AV was recently commissioned to provide the Audiovisual System Upgrade for Baptist Health South Florida Homestead Hospital. Baker supplied the necessary equipment and integration work relating to the main boardroom, center conference room, executive boardroom, along with Homestead’s large auditorium.
